HGV Class 2 (C) Tanker Driver

Job Description

Are you an HGV Class 2 driver looking for a full-time role that offers more variety than just driving? We are recruiting a Tanker Driver who is happy to get stuck in and support a range of drainage and tanker operations. This is a hands-on role within a supportive and well-established business, offering training, development, Please note, this role can involve working away from home during some weeks . When staying away: A company vehicle will be provided Hotel accommodation will be provided Up to £200 per week additional payment for staying away Up to £200 per week for expenses This offers an excellent opportunity to boost weekly earnings for drivers who are flexible with working away

The Details

• Monday to Friday
• Start Times ranging from 05:00 - 08:00
• Weekly Pay
• Work between 1 - 3 sites per day
• A nice fleet of modern vehicles.
• Local Work
• Minimal handball (drivers must be willing when required)
• Weekly working hours typically 50–60 hours

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating and working on tankers across the fleet (full training provided)
• Supporting drainage operations
• Completing site and works information accurately using a tablet device
• Carrying out work in line with company health & safety policies
• Participating in the out-of-hours rota
• Undertaking all required training and development

Who we're looking for

• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 2 (C) experience would be an advantage
• New Pass Drives are still welcome to apply
• Valid C licence
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
• Valid Digital Tacho Card
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, safety-focused driving approach
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change

Pay & Benefits

• £15.00 per hour (Monday–Friday)
• £19.95 per hour weekly overtime
• £22.50 per hour weekend rate (Saturday & Sunday)
