HGV Class 2 (C) Driver | Multi Drop

Job Description

LogiStaff Recruitment is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for regular, ongoing work based in Willand, Devon.

The role involves completing multi-drop palletised deliveries to businesses and private residential addresses across the region. Drivers will be responsible for safely delivering goods, using a tail lift and manual pump truck where required, while providing a professional service to customers.

The Role

• Completing multi-drop palletised deliveries to businesses and private residential addresses.
• Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles from the Willand depot.
• Using a tail lift and manual pump truck to unload deliveries.
• Delivering to a variety of commercial and residential locations.
• Following planned delivery routes and completing deliveries efficiently.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operating a tail lift and manual pump truck.
• Handling and manoeuvring palletised goods at delivery locations.
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured before leaving the depot.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery.
• Communicating with customers and transport office staff.
• Following drivers' hours regulations and company procedures.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient driving style.

Pay & Benefits

• £15.00 – £20.00 per hour.
